My working process is a constant flow of thoughts, a stream of consciousness that keeps going on relentlessly, over which I have little to no control. Events swirl around me, day to day, in my life and they get caught on the paper as frozen moments in time that are bound on the surface by the strokes of the pencil.

My role as an artist is to isolate the radiant instants that shine the hardest and investigate what shapes them: the subtlety of the gestures, the sincere postures of the bodies, the harsh background that eats the figures away reaching out from the deepest obscurity.
